The cricket worldcup tournament is coming to a close. the hot favourites like India and Pakistan did not find place in the semifinals also: where as team from Bangla is doing very well. The inumerable cricket fans in the subcontinet had to accept the fact with resignation & belied expectations. Cricket is only a game.
The old cliche "playing, participating is more important than winning" is true in cricket also.

Cricket stopped being a leisurly and gentleman's game. In the commonwealth countries, where cricket is played, it's following is great and the players are idolized like gods. now there is big money involved with corporations sponsoring games and prizes. so rumours of matchfixing have some substance, It is all in the game.
